The Marijuana Gold Rush
Browsing through an artist from St. Catharine's, Jamez Townsend, I was amazed by his work. He masters the bricks with some dizzy graffiti and his animations bring creepy and conspiring creations. He is a contributor to Section 8, a Canadian art group. This group is contained with young aspiring artists trying to make an impact on their community and go as far as they can reach. Like many of us young, with inspiration, I was really intrigued and could tell that this group has been inspired. Checking out their inspiration sites, I came across Silly Pink Bunnies. The picture shown above is a part of Jeremy Fishes collection. His work is based on the stories of San Fransisco from the 1850's. He really dug deep in finding the stories of the dead town and how it boomed with population and the reasons why. Every person has a story and every picture tells a story. He combines a great story with a piece of art that draws you in.
Check out Jamez Townsend's work, along with Section 8.
Also, make sure you check out Silly Pink Bunnies, the collection is off the wall.
