A Man Whom Knew All

He asks himself everyday "Who am I?"
He wonders all the time why he says the things he does and asks himself questions of uncertainty
A man of such known intelligence, he should know all
As he watches men with confidence get the girls, he sits back and doesn't understand how to go about it
He looks in the mirror and pulls on his face, trying to pull it off
He squeezes his nose trying to make it smaller
He spits on his own reflection in the mirror
It is a hidden secret that will haunt him forever
With so many insecurities he lashes out with his intelligence
Putting others down and making them feel like a molecule floating in a massive world
He doesn't understand his actions
"Why aren't you good enough? Why can't you be more than a brain?"
Everyday his struggle with his own identity gets more frustrating
Everyday gets deeper with questions of his imperfections
No one understands him and no one tries to calm him down
He is alone, due to his own self-destruction
His face always unimpressed with his tense eyebrows scaring off strangers
He is a knife stabbing himself in the back
Until he finds the place that makes him happy
A morning dew bridge surrounded by thick fog
He looks down off the bridge and finds all of his answers
Everything begins to make sense
He can feel warmth and acceptance looking down at a cloud of fog
More than he can looking at himself in a mirror
He jumps and ends his insanity
And begins his peace.
